Check out wax figures of famous people, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, Australian politicians, movie characters, and significant historical figures. The wax museum is also home to a thrilling chamber of horrors, dioramas about Australia’s past, and replicas of the Crown Jewels.

Gold Coast Hinterland Heritage Museum
Curious about the Gold Coast’s history? Then, spend a day exploring the Gold Coast Hinterland Heritage Museum. It is an open-air museum where you can stroll through various houses and buildings from the Gold Coast’s past. Check out the Okey House, a house built in the early 1930s and relocated entirely to the museum grounds in 2003.
Additionally, there is the magnificent Franklin House, constructed in 1956. You’ll also see the Nerang Railway Station, Slab Hut, Cream Shed, and The Lock-up.
